(IT) Application Support - Equities, Front Office, Unix, SQL, Perl

Location: London   

Front Office Application Support Analyst, with Unix, Windows and SQL, Perl and Shell Scripting skills, required for an Equity team within a leading Investment Bank based in London.You will be supporting mission critical Front Office applications within Equities liaising directly with traders on a day to day basis. You need to have had experience supporting applications in a Front Office capacity, with a good grasp of business knowledge in particular around Equities and Derivatives. Technically you need to have strong: RDBMS knowledge, Windows, Unix Scripting, Perl and SQL. A candidate from a development/Unix System Admin background would be at an advantage for this role as strong technical skills are a must.
