Dick Hunter, former VP of Global Consumer Services and Support at Dell Inc., joins the Board of Directors of DataInfoCom Incorporated

Dick Hunter, recent VP of Global Consumer Services and Support at Dell, has joined the Board of DataInfoCom, an enterprise software company that has developed patent-pending, predictive decision support and optimization technologies for Fortune 500 companies with globally distributed business processes. Dick brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and relationships to DataInfoCom. Prior to his last role at Dell, he was the Vice President of Dell Americas Operations (DAO); in this role, Dick was responsible for 5 manufacturing plants and 5 distribution centers in North and South America. During Dick's more than 5 years as the VP of DAO, Dell increased productivity by more than 10% every year, reduced cost by 70%, improved inventory turns by 60%, improved quality by 75%, and built a new plant in North Carolina. Dick also held senior executive roles at General Electric ("GE"), Texas Instruments ("TI"), and Ericsson. Dick currently serves on the Governing Board of Massachusetts Institute of Technology's ("MIT") Leaders for Manufacturing Program, and on the Advisory Board of Georgia Tech College of Computing.
